Pole 101:
This class is unlike any other class currently offered in our valley. At Moving Body we consider this class to be an empowerment to women of all ages. This class allows you to learn pole technique safely and allows for a fun experience (there is no nudity). Small classes are offered to ensure that you get the most out of your workout. Our classes are affordable, not like other programs currently charging $50 - $55 per class. At Moving Body you’ll spend time on the pole, not waiting or doing Pilates. All that is required is a great attitude. *Shoe rental available for $5 per day*

It tones and exercises the body with stretching and low-impact aerobics.  This class is especially good form of exercise for women recovering from injuries, surgery or pregnancy. It works the muscles gently without stressing the body or overextending the joints. No previous dance training is needed.

Hula-Hoop Basics** RSVP for Feb. 27th:
This will be a 5 week PROGRESSIVE series, in which you will build on what you've learned the previous week. Imagine spiraling, turning, and gyrating the hoop around every inch of your body like you've never seen before! It's sensual and mesmerizing. It's sexy and fun. It builds confidence while toning and strengthening your core. We'll offer this class once a week for 5 weeks and focus on teaching a solid hoop dance foundation. You will learn to hoop around the waist and hips, lift the hoop off of your body, and hoop around the upper torso, shoulders, and neck. You'll also learn to hoop in the vertical plane, angles, jumps, and hooping around the thighs. ............................................................................. **This is a progressive class. Therefore you must attend the first class to continue attending the remaining 4 classes.

This class focuses on simple choreography, just like any other dance class would. You may learn a couple of weight bearing tricks during this class, and you will learn the mechanics of how tricks work as well as timing. The choreography for this class repeats week after week. Beginners can take this class as many times as they like until they feel comfortable enough to move on to Pole 101. We feel that this class is important for anybody who has never touched a pole before, or feels as if they are not a good dancer. Like our other classes we offer this class by appointment only. In this class we will work on basic foundations and technique. YOU MUST TAKE THIS CLASS A MINIMUM OF 3 TIMES BEFORE MOVING ON TO POLE 101.
